After a lot of extra work i am excited to reveal i have created my website, check it out and let me know what you think! I wanted a simple and contemporary user face that allowed viewers to easily navigate across the site. I decided to move on from Wixx (which served me well). Even though i used a website helper, this is something i have never done before as for some of my photos and external features i had to explore into html coding. After much frustration getting my photos to roll together as a collection here is the link below!

Portfolio Inspiration
Looking at different portfolio idea i decided to have a laser cut white acrylic folder, Here are some of my inspirations for portfolio that lead me to my final product.
Inspiration
Klo portfolios- I wanted a laser cut straight through portfolio to allow my work to be seen through, either a pattern or plain colour will be put behind.
The idea of plastic piano hinges to make the whole thing come together works best for me.
White acrylic looks sleek and professional with a contemporary simple design lazer cut into the acrylic
Had great difficulty finding a suitable D ring for my portfolio but finally came across a company in china that sold a 4 ring d ring for A4 folders.
My Folder
After having problems laser cutting i found a company that could do it for me , i decided on a A4 and an A3 folder for my sketchbook work, below are some images of me making my portfolio, including riveting the binder in place.

Business card ideas
There are so many different creative and unusual ways to have business cards, this draws in an employer to ring you for work, so must be sleek and contemporary.
Below are some ideas of business cards that inspired me to design my final card.
Laser cutting- Origianally i wanted laser cut business cards to match my portfolio, but due to pricing costs this was too expensive .
Punch printing- The most likely choice for my cards , these card above are shiny card with punched text and glitter at the top, very creative!!
Foil Printing -Looks amazing on textured papers for contrast, however very expensive to do.
Printing on numerous different papers- for example above on tracing paper, not very durable though.
Different sized cards- Effective however usually business cards are held in a purse or wallet so this would be ineffective.
My Design
Card is punched on the text so has a sheen over it
